Meet Grant Toghill
A software engineer by trade, Grant lived in Erskine for 26 years before moving to Bishopton where he now lives. A local campaigner who has campaigned locally on issues ranging from the need for a new high school for Dargavel to calling for more support to keep local banking services open.
Grant is a local youth group leader and has a keen interest in young people getting the best chance at life and making sure that local facilities are available and meet the needs of the community.
Every vote for the Scottish Liberal Democrats will help fight to deliver change with fairness at its heart.
I am standing to fight for better deal for the people who make up its communities – many of them have felt totally let down by politics and politicians for years and I can't blame them.

Many people feel totally let down by politics and politicians for years and we can't blame them.
Scotland has so much going for it. But right now, it feels like our country simply isn’t working. Household bills are soaring. The long waits to see your GP. Seeing local councils without money to fund services.
Scotland deserves better than this. A realistic plan. Change with fairness at its heart. Common sense solutions to the problems we all face every day.
