James Kenyon is the Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate for the Paisley constituency in May's Scottish Parliament election

A resident of Paisley for two years who practices law in Glasgow City Centre, James is a registered solicitor specializing in human rights. He intends to bring his professional experience in forensic scrutiny and his dedication to justice to Holyrood, ensuring the people of Paisley have a representative committed to effective government accountability.

James's campaign is centered on delivering "Change with fairness at its heart". He aims to address the concerns of many in the community who feel that current systems are failing them.

James Kenyon said:

“I am proud to stand as the 'fresh voice for Paisley'. My professional life is built on facts, evidence, and the rule of law. In Holyrood, I will apply that same forensic approach to fix what is broken and deliver a fairer future for our town.

“People in Paisley are exhausted by constitutional theatre and tabloid noise. They want a parliament focused on the issues that actually impact their lives, like the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH). Our plan ensures that people don't have to travel hundreds of miles to get the healthcare and support they need.

“We are also committed to bringing down household bills by utilizing Scottish renewable energy and insulating more homes. Furthermore, we will work to get our transport back on track by investing in more efficient public transport and better-maintained roads.

“The Liberal Democrats are winning again, from record numbers of MPs to significant gains in local by-elections. Paisley deserves better, and on May 7th, you can vote for the change we need.”
