Thank you for voting Scottish Liberal Democrat

We would like to thank everyone across Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire who supported, campaigned for, or voted Scottish Liberal Democrat on either or both of their ballots at this election. 

Across all constituencies across the West Scotland we saw our vote share increase on both ballots, with a number of constituencies seeing vote shares double, as part of a great night for the party across Scotland, where 10 MSPs were elected — an increase of six since 2021. While we did not manage to get a regional MSP for West Scotland this time we did see our first ever constituency win with Adam Harley winning in Strathkelvin and Bearsden.

Our focus will now turn to next year’s local elections, where we have a great opportunity return more Liberal voices to the Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire council chambers. 

We will continue working all year round for our communities, fighting to deliver change with fairness at its heart.
